Changing the Lives of Children Like Cashae
The team at Every Arkansan recognized these dreams, seeing Cashae’s potential and wanting nothing more than for her to succeed.
So, when it was time for Cashae to explore colleges, our volunteers took her on a handful of tours, reminding her of the incredible opportunities that awaited her. They also took Cashae to her college orientation, walking alongside her as she began this exciting new chapter.
As Cashae started school, our donors generously chipped in to buy her a laptop, ensuring she had the tools needed to work toward her degree. They even outfitted her first dorm room, creating a comfortable space for her to thrive.
With the unwavering support of Every Arkansan, Cashae pursued her education with determination and resilience. This spring, she’s set to complete her master’s degree in New York—an inspiring achievement that once seemed out of reach.
Cashae’s journey is a testament to the power of community and the transformative impact of investing in someone’s dreams. Thanks to the selfless contributions of people like you, Cashae is boldly chasing her God-given dream, fueled by the support of those who believed in her potential.

This Place is Home
Josh was only nine years old when his mom passed away suddenly from a stroke. This vibrant little boy with dreams of being someone special faced an uncertain future.
The statistics pointed to a hard future for a boy like Josh. Yet, he had something many children living in poverty do not—his community at Every Arkansan.
After school and every summer, he spent his time with us, where he received help with homework, a warm meal, and attention from volunteers who poured into his life.
Today, Josh is the president of several organizations on his college campus and, despite his childhood challenges, is thriving at college. Over the summer, he turned down other opportunities to join our AmeriCorps program and give back because Every Arkansan is home.
