What Kind of Impact Will Your Family Make?

You’re shaping how your kids see the world and how they show up in it. We want to play a small part in it.

Start With One Small Step

Turn Moments Into Impact

Keep Showing Up Together

Encourage Someone Who Needs It Today

Write Your Note

Take a minute to write a simple message of encouragement. Share a few kind words, and we’ll make sure it reaches someone in one of our programs who could use it.

Make an Impact

Your words might seem small, but they can mean so much. You can remind someone they’re not alone and give them the encouragement they need to keep going.

Stay Connected

After you submit your note, we’ll keep you in the loop, sharing more about the impact you’re making and ways you can continue to be involved.

I’m Just a Parent, What Can I Really Do?

It’s easy to feel like your world stays close to home.

You’re managing meals, school, and schedules, just trying to keep up. So when you hear about big needs, it can feel like something for someone else to solve.

But your influence is bigger than you think.

Your kids are watching how you treat people and what you do when you see a need.

You don’t have to fix everything, but you can help your kids see it, talk about it, and take one small step together.

That’s how change starts.

Families In Our Community Are Facing Tough Challenges

Right here in Arkansas, almost 600,000 people are facing hunger, including nearly 168,000 children.

At the same time, 1 in 5 kids are growing up in poverty, with families doing everything they can and still coming up short.

These are parents like you. They’re kids in your child’s classroom and neighbors in your community.

From One Parent to Another

As a dad of three, I know how full life can be. Most days revolve around routines, responsibilities, and trying to be present in the middle of it all.

Fatherhood has reshaped how I see this work.

The families we serve look a lot like ours: parents doing their best and hoping for opportunity for their kids.

That’s what makes this personal.

The families we serve are our neighbors in classrooms and communities we move through every day.

The way we choose to show up, both at home and beyond, carries more weight than we realize.

I’m so glad you’re here. The way you’re showing up for your family, and even taking a moment to think about this, matters more than you realize.

So, How Can You Show Up?

Fortunately, you don’t need a big plan or a lot of extra time (which we’re all short on as parents!). A handful of intentional moments can go a long way.

We’re Helping Families Like Yours

These families look a lot like yours, just with a little more weight to carry.

Shaneka

Shaneka is a mom of two in Little Rock, balancing work, school schedules, and everything in between. The difference is her workday starts when her kids get home.

Evenings used to be a constant strain, trying to figure out meals and homework in the middle of exhaustion.

Then she found Every Arkansan’s after-school program.

Her kids now have a safe place to go where dinner is covered, and homework gets done. They’re surrounded by people who know them and care.

For Shaneka, it changed everything.

“This place is a lifesaver for me as a mom.”

Amari

Amari came to us seven months pregnant, without a home, job, or safe next step.

Everything felt urgent.

With the right support, things shifted. She found stability, saved for a car, and moved into a place of her own.

Today, she’s home with her baby, no longer just getting through the day, but starting to build what’s next.

Stacy

For Stacy, a single mom of three, everything started to unravel in one moment: running out of gas on the side of the interstate.

Her car was impounded, and she couldn’t get to work. Suddenly, everything she had worked for was at risk.

Thanks to timely support from people like you, her family found stability again.

One of the biggest moments? Her kids having beds of their own.

These are the stories unfolding every day. Parents doing their best, and kids who need support. It’s up to us to step in and walk with them.
